Firefighters rescue man from tree

A 27-year-old man had to be rescued by Suffolk firefighters today after getting stuck upside-down in a tree.

A fire crew was called to Mill Lane in Corton, near Lowestoft, at 12.40am to free the man who was said to be dangling.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the man was “possibly drunk”.

The rescue was completed within 30 minutes.
