Firefighters tackle house blaze in Lowestoft

The 56-year-old woman was taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston early this morning after the blaze in Bishops Walk at 5.40am.
Three fire crews - two from Lowestoft South and one from Normanshurst - were called to the home in Gunton, with the bedroom of the property 'well alight,' according to the fire service.
The crews from Lowestoft wore breathing apparatus to tackle the flames, which were out by 6.30am.
The woman was described as being in 'cardiac arrest' when paramedics arrived at the scene and she was taken to the hospital in Gorleston for treatment.
