FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft spent almost an hour tackling a garage blaze in the town.
Two crews from Lowestoft were called to the garage fire at Howley Gardens on the Parkhill estate just after 12.45pm yesterday (Wednesday, October 27) afternoon.
On arrival at the scene, firefighters found a 'detached property consisting of two floors,' with the fire 'located in garage.' The crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to tackle the blaze, with one of the BA crews 'working inside of the house on the first floor,' acccording to a spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
The blaze wasx soon dealt with, as firefighters left the scene at 1.41pm.
