Firefighters tackle Lowestoft house blaze

FIREFIGHTERS spent over an hour tackling a house blaze in Lowestoft.

Three fire crews from Lowestoft South station were called to the home in Waveney Drive at 2.33pm yesterday (Sunday).

The firefighters discovered the blaze had taken hold of a conservatory at the semi detached house. The fire was brought under control after the removal of roof tiles and the scene was cleared by 3.36pm.
