FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft were kept busy with a spate of bin blazes across the town.
One crew from Lowestoft South Station were called to Windsor Road in Kirkley last Friday evening following reports that a wheelie bin was 'well alight.' The blaze was quickly dealt with and the scene was cleared by 7.35pm.
At 10.41pm last Friday night, a crew from Lowestoft South were called to put out a rubbish bin blaze in St Margarets Road. They used one hosereel jet to extinguish the flames with the bin blaze cleared by 10.52pm.
And in the early hours of Saturday morning, a crew from Lowestoft south attended another wheelie bin blaze in Norwich Road, Lowestoft. Firefighters spent ten minutes tackling the blaze after being called out at 3.52am, and the scene was cleared just after 4am.
