FIREFIGHTERS spent more than an hour tackling a field blaze in Kessingland.
A crew from Wrentham fire station were called to Coopers Lane in Kessingland at 12.28am this morning (Tuesday, November 16). A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: 'This was an area of undergrowth well alight, a large deep seated rubbish fire involving undergrowth and builders waste.'
Firefighters used 'one hosereel and two chromes' to put out the flames and after 'good progress' was made, the scene was cleared by 1.55am.
