FIVE teenagers have been arrested following a burglary at a home in Lowestoft.
Police were called by an observant local reporting burglars had been disturbed inside their home in Salisbury Road around 4.15am this morning (Tuesday, July 12) and officers immediately attended.
The five – two 16-year-old boys, two 16-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl - were subsequently arrested and a number of items of property stolen in the incident, including a laptop computer, an iPod, a games console and TV set, were recovered by police.
'All five are currently in custody – one 16-year-old boy at Lowestoft, the other four at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre – where they will be interviewed by officers,' a police spokesman said.
