A floating maritime museum has opened to the public after the winter months.
The Mincarlo LT412, moored in the port of Lowestoft, is the last complete example of a Lowestoft sidewinder trawler, and is the last floating example which has an engine and a hull manufactured in Lowestoft.
The Mincarlo will be open to visitors over the Easter Holidays and throughout the summer months, whil the Lydia Eva will be open throughout the summer. Admission is free for both ships.
The ship will be open from 10.30am to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, but is closed on Friday and Sunday.
The Lydia Eva and Mincarlo Charitable Trust, who run the museum and restore the boat, is looking for ex-fishermen interested in becoming volunteer crew members and passing on their knowledge and stories of trips.
