MANY thanks to Rachel Moore for her kind words in respect of my uncle Henry Smith in her article 'Fond memories of a pair, whose goodness shone for a lifetime' (August 14).
She was spot on: Uncle Henry on his bike, waving to everyone. He knew so many people in the town. He will be sorely missed.
I like to think he is now 'up there' catching up with my dear dad, his close brother. They are in a better place.
