Forget third crossing

I SUGGEST enough is enough.

Let's give the highways department a rest from the complaints about the third crossing and the new road system.

As for the third crossing we all know miracles only happen once every 2,000 years, so let's forget all about it and get onto a serious current issue: rat infestation.

I SUGGEST enough is enough.

Let's give the highways department a rest from the complaints about the third crossing and the new road system.

As for the third crossing we all know miracles only happen once every 2,000 years, so let's forget all about it and get onto a serious current issue: rat infestation.

The service from Waveney District Council does not exist or is available anymore. I have now spent £12 of my meagre government pension on a rat trap and rat poison. The rat is no longer a menace.

Did the council, in their wisdom, anticipate or foresee the high cost of dealing with this unsavoury problem of rodents on our premises, if so they certainly succeeded saving us council tax payer's enormous amounts of money, but at what cost?

As usual it's the taxpayer who pays twice again for the same service.

Could it not be my human rights to be protected from this vermin, not to mention health and safety in the home and young children.

I suspect the service will cost twice as much when this rat infestation multiply and out of control and then this council will I hope, act accordingly. I will be the first to say I told you so.

In conclusion we did survive the plague a few years ago but is this country going to the dogs, will it be rabies next I wonder?
