Free activities for children will be on offer this half term.

Community Action Suffolk and East Suffolk Communities Team have joined forces to organise a children's activity day, which will be held on Thursday, February 21.

Music, drama, dance, boxing and much more will be showcased from 10am to 2pm at the Kirkley Centre in London Road South, Lowestoft.

Activities for all ages will be free, with refreshments available. There will be music sessions with county music services, boxing with Ultimate Boxing, arts, crafts and storytelling with Realise Futures and Flipside, dance fitness with Sunrise Fitness, drama games with the Marina Theatre and a performance from the youth section of My Rock Choir.

Kareena Chapman, Kirkley Centre manager, said: 'This will be a fun event for all ages and a great way to try a new activity for free, we will also have stalls from local groups who can offer advice and support to families'
