A free networking event for all Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations working with young people in Waveney will take place this week.
The event is taking place this Friday (March 1) from 10am to 3pm at Lowestoft Community Church in south Lowestoft.
Funded by Waveney District Council and in partnership with Young Suffolk, at the event you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other local providers of children and young people's services and activities.
A council spokesman said: 'Most places available have been allocated but there are still a few left. The event is an opportunity for Voluntary and Community Sector youth groups/organisations working with and supporting young people to find out what funding and training opportunities are available to them. Attendees can also find out how to ensure their organisation has all the necessary safeguarding policies and procedures in place.'
