Free range campaigners have wrong target

RACHEL Moore is right to point out that these people who keep on about us buying free range organic chickens are all well-off celebrities.

I can't help thinking that these people have got the wrong target.

I'm sure that everyone would rather that all animals had a happy life but not everyone can afford the cost of them. It is with the supermarkets that the celebrities should be giving their message; they can easily afford to make less, much more so than ordinary customers can.

Why should they not have animal products on loss leaders rather than the items they have now?

I would certainly support any store which traded in this way and I'm sure many other people would.
