The Friends of Lowestoft Library are holding a coffee and chatter morning next Saturday, June 10.
Running from 10.30am to 2pm at the library, the event is a chance to find out about volunteering and about the home library service which takes books to older and disabled people. You can also find out about the Friends group; their many activities, events and their forthcoming literary festival, as well as how to join them. Coffee and tea will be available.
Kessingland Library is also reminding local people of the library's reading group which takes place on the first Tuesday of the month.
The group meets at the library at 4.30pm and the next meeting is on Tuesday, June 6. Members will be looking at the book 'The Shepherd's Life': a tale of the Lake District by James Rebanks. Everyone is very welcome to attend.
