Over the pst 18 months of research, radio interviews, conducted tours of the area and consultations with environmental experts, they have worked tirelessly to prevent the woods from being quarried to source sand and gravel.
It is because of Keith's leadership and tireless enthusiasm that we have a local beauty spot where walks of wild flowers and woodland habitat is now preserved for future family generations.
Well done Keith and the Friends of Fritton Woods.
It goes to show that the days of David and Goliath are not over and that the little men can still win, given strength and determination of the local community.
