A charity which supports people with brain injury and disabilities will hold a special fun day next month.

The Brainwave Independence Group promotes independent living and helps clients pursue full and interesting lives.

And on Sunday, August 5 they will hold 'the big fun day' at Waveney Bowls Club headquarters at Camps Heath in Oulton Broad.

Running from 10am to 4pm, there is free entry to the event, which features live music, arena displays including performances from the Lowestoft dog agility display team, Mirage belly dancers and Jordan Ayers school of dance as well a children's fancy dress contest, a range of games, activities and numerous stalls along with a raffle.

A group spokesman said: 'Everyone at Brainwave Independence Group would like to thank Molly and Frank and Waveney Bowls Club, all our advertisers, stallholders, the people who donated raffle prizes and all the static displays for their continued support in helping us move forward.'
