Fun day to boost football club

People are being encouraged to turn out in support of Lowestoft Town FC as a special fundraising event is held.

A summer fun day will take centre stage at Lowestoft’s home ground, The Amber Dew Events Stadium, tomorrow (Saturday, May 26).

With activities such as children’s entertainment, face painting, bouncy castle, a car boot sale, a local business table top sale and the British Bike Club motorcycle show there is something for everyone to enjoy.

With The Trawlerboys – Lowestoft Town FC’s official supporters club – regularly raising money for the club through fundraising events, Helen Nixon, the club’s fundraising committee chairman, said: “The fun day we have got promises to be a really big event.

“All money raised will be going to the club.”

There is £1 entry to the fun day, which runs from 10am to 4pm.
