Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local causes, have boosted an ongoing campaign.
On Friday, September 8, Team Lauren Lou teamed up with the Tesco store in Lowestoft town centre to raise money for teenager Hannah Coffill's campaign to visit a private clinic in Berlin for a procedure that may restore some of her sight.
With £473.55 raised through collections and a cake sale, Gary Bennett, of Team Lauren Lou, said: 'We can't thank Tesco enough for their tremendous support for Hannah and thanks to their kind customers, who donated so generously. Thanks to my awesome volunteers and thank you to Lowestoft Vision for giving us permission to have our pink three wheel car on display. Our thanks also go to Waveney District Council for the street licence – team work from all concerned to help this inspirational young lady.'
