Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local causes, have been boosted by recent collections.
Last Friday, September 29 a street collection and table top sale was held in Beccles town centre. Gary Bennett, of Team Lauren Lou, said: 'Thank you to my awesome volunteers and to Nationwide bank staff who provided tea and cakes as a goodwill gesture – but above all thank you to the very kind, generous donating public who always donate to our cancer events.'
On Tuesday 3 (October 3) a street collection was held in Lowestoft for its local appeals fund, with £188.47 raised in just four hours.
Thanking the council and Lowestoft Vision, Mr Bennett added: 'Thank you to my volunteers and the very kind donating public who always support what we do, which allows us to help so many local people.'
