A FUNDRAISING event in memory of a little girl who died just four days after she was born has raised �450 for good causes.
Tamzin Skillings was born at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in December. But when it emerged she had suffered severe brain damage during labour, her mother Joanne Kane, 31, and her partner, Lee Skillings, 29, faced an agonising few days before they came to the heartbreaking decision to allow doctors to switch off their daughter's life support machine.
Joanne's sister Jennifer, 27, decided that something positive should be done to ensure that her short life was commemorated, and so she organised an evening of music at the Royal Standard pub in Denmark Road, Lowestoft, last month, where �450 was raised.
The proceeds will be going to the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) and the intensive care baby unit at the Norfolk and Norwich where Tamzin was cared for.
