Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of Cancer Research UK, have been boosted by a street collection.

Last Tuesday, May 16 a table top sale and bucket collection was held in Lowestoft town centre, which raised £290.26 for Cancer Research UK.

Gary Bennett, of Team Lauren Lou, said: “Thank you to Lowestoft Vision for giving us permission to display our vehicles, and to Waveney District Council’s street licensing team for giving us the permit required to do this.

“Thank you also to my volunteers and to the awesome general public who donated so kindly.”
