ORGANISERS of the Denes High School centenary celebrations are calling on people to let them know if they plan to attend their special event.

The school, in Yarmouth Road, Lowestoft, marks its 100th year with an afternoon event on Saturday, April 24, and organisers would like to know at least a week in advance how many people are intending to attend.

On the day a stone plaque and new flagpole will be unveiled as former pupils remember their time there with tours, slide shows, refreshments and exhibitions.

Those who attended the Denes High School and plan to go to the event are asked to contact Justin Smith on justin@aspirecentre.co.uk or 01502 533520, while those who attended when it was the Secondary and Grammar School can contact Christopher Brooks at 356 London Road South, Lowestoft NR33 0BQ, 01502 563208 or cjb356lrs@yahoo.co.uk

They are asked to state the years they attended the school and can request an outline information sheet about the afternoon by emailing or sending a SAE to the above addresses.
