A GROUP of young adults with learning difficulties were treated to a memorable and fun-packed day on four wheels thanks to the combined efforts of three companies.
Breakaway Active, which provides adventure holidays and respite, for the carers of young people with learning difficulties, teamed up with GO Driving Tuition in Lowestoft and Anglia Rider Training at Great Yarmouth to set up the day.
All of the young adults were thrilled to have the experience of driving "real" automatic cars around a track circuit at Anglia Rider Training's base at Harfrey's Industrial Estate and to be taught to carry out reversing manoeuvres.
The event was part of a holiday in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth for the group, who all came from Essex.
Go Driving Tuition and Anglia Rider Training have co-operated over the past five years to provide experiences such as this, to allow blind and visually impaired people to drive in a safe off-road environment.
