FIREFIGHTERS battled a gorse blaze near Lowestoft yesterday (Sunday).
Two crews from Lowestoft were called to Corton Cliffs, off Yarmouth Roadm at about 8.45am yesterday. On arrival at the scene they discovered about 900 sq m of gorse was 'well alight,' according to a spokesman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
They quickly dealt with the blaze, with the scene cleared by 9am.
