HOW anybody who has seen the horizon beautifully lit up at night can resent the tankers off Lowestoft is beyond me.Any passing ship presents a potential risk of an oil slip but I am quite confident that strict health and safety measures are being observed, thus minimising the risk.

Besides, they are contributing to the local economy as regards supplies, ferrying and taxiing of crew, etc.
