SPECIAL fundraising events are taking place in Lowestoft in the coming weeks including a memorial football match, a clairvoyant evening and a bed of nails stunt.

Next Wednesday, April 23 Steven Treadaway will be holding a clairvoyant evening at the Spiritualist Church, in Gordon Road, from 7pm with proceeds going to the Daniel Felstead Memorial Fund and Help an East Coast Child appeal. Tickets cost £5 and they are available on the door, with everyone welcome to attend.

A memorial football match will take place at Crown Meadow at noon on Sunday, May 4. And Roy Singfield will be aiming to attract 1,200 people to the match at the home of Lowestoft Town FC as he lays on a bed of nails and encourages people to walk on him for £1 a go with monies raised from the match going to charity.
