A popular park has been hailed once more after scooping another Green Flag award.

Nicholas Everitt Park, in Oulton Broad, was recognised for the quality of its facilities as it received the prestigious accolade for the ninth consecutive year.

The park is managed by Oulton Broad Parish Council, and parish council chairman Sandra Keller said: "Its a thrill for our beautiful park to be awarded the Green Flag for the ninth consecutive year.

"Its testament to all of the hard work that goes into looking after the park, from the parish council, and all of the work by gardener, Marie, and the team at Norse, and the Friends of Nicholas Everitt Park who put in hundreds of voluntary hours every year".

The Green Flag Award recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces across the UK and around the world.
