Family Halloween Party and Disco - Tickets are now available for the annual Gunton Estate Family Halloween Party and Disco which will be held on Saturday 31 October from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm at the estate's Community Hall opposite the shops in Hollingsworth Road. Organised by the Gunton Estate Tenants and Residents Association, tickets cost �1 each, including buffet. Fancy dress is optional, the theme this year being 'witches and wizards'. Please note that no child can be admitted unless accompanied by a responsible adult. Because the hall holds only 80 people, no tickets will be available at the door on the night. Forthcoming Craft Fair - A few stalls are still available at the forthcoming Craft Fair which will be held from 10 am to 4 pm at the Gunton Estate Community Hall on Saturday 24 October. Stalls cost �5 and to enable a wider variety of crafts on offer, there are only spaces left for only two more card stalls. Admission to the event will be free. Gunton Church Caf� - The next Church Caf� at Gunton St Peter's Church is on Tuesday, from 12 noon to 2 pm. Held at St Peter's Annexe in Gunton Church Lane, every second Tuesday, lunch this month will consist of two courses with either a choice of soup and a roll or a savoury tart, salad and French bread, followed by dessert and tea or ground coffee. The cost is �3. Church members, friends, neighbours and visitors are all welcome.

Bowls Club Jumble Sale - Waveney Bowls Club is holding a jumble sale tomorrow at the Gunton Estate Community Hall, Hollingsworth Road, from 9 am to 12 noon. Stalls include tombola, bric-a-brac, clothes, books and videos. Admission will be 20 pence, and refreshments will also be available throughout the event.

Gunton Estate Housing and Repairs Surgery - A Waveney District Council housing officer and a member of the council's housing repair team will be at Tuesday's Gunton Community Partnership

Drop-in at the Gunton Estate Community Hall, Hollingsworth road, from 10 am to 11 am. The next scheduled date for housing and repairs surgeries will be on Tuesday 10 November. Ward councillors will be holding their regular surgery next week (20 October) which, all being well, will include the estate's PCSO. More dates are expected to follow. Teas and coffees are available throughout the morning. Also available are the Community Partnership's information service and fund-raising stalls. Gunton Community Partnership mornings are held every Tuesday from 9 am to 11 am, and are open to all who live in Gunton and its neighbouring communities.
