Gunton flower festival

Gunton St Peter's church is holding its annual flower festival this weekend. The event will be held over three days beginning tomorrow (Saturday) and finishing on Monday.

Gunton St Peter's church is holding its annual flower festival this weekend. The event will be held over three days beginning tomorrow (Saturday) and finishing on Monday. Up to nine gardens are expected to open to the public tomorrow. Admission will be by programme - including map - price �1.50 (children free). St Peter's will also be open to view the floral arrangements on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. As well as light refreshments, there will be bric-a-brac, books, cakes, good as new, and jewellery stalls in St Peter's annexe on Saturday and Monday. Cream teas will also be available for sale in the annex on Sunday from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. The floral arrangements can be viewed between 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, 2.30 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, and between 10 am and 4 pm on Monday.

The Festival will end on Monday (29 June) - which is also St Peter's Day - with a Songs of Praise service at Gunton St Peter's church starting at 5 pm.
