A teenager will demonstrate her kindness to others by having her hair shaved off in front of all her friends.
Hannah Askew - who attends East Point Academy in Lowestoft - will go to school on March 28 with a head full of hair and return home clean shaven.
The 14-year-old's hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, a charity providing free real hair wigs to girls and boys affected by hair loss as a result of illness.
Hannah's determination to help others increased when her father's girlfriend was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy, losing her hair in the process.
With the big day fast approaching, Hannah's nerves are steadily growing, but she is looking forward to doing something meaningful for children less fortunate than herself.
'Although I didn't always expect it to be a head shave, I've always wanted to do something big for charity,' said Hannah. 'When I found the Little Princess Trust online, I decided to do this for them.
'I'm feeling excited, but as the day gets closer it's getting more nerve-wracking!'
