THIEVES stole a rabbit from a hutch at a popular Oulton Broad attraction.

Police need to trace two white men – one wearing a light coloured hooded top with wide white stripes down the arms and the other shorter than the first wearing a dark coloured hooded top, light coloured baseball cap with a darker peak and carrying a light coloured rucksack – after the theft of a lop-eared rabbit from a hutch at Pets Corner in Bridge Road about 4.45am to 4.55am on Thursday, December 16.

The two entered the site and took the brown rabbit, which has a black face, before leaving.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or those involved to call PC 622 Clark on 01986 835300.

• A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of two guinea pigs from the same premises on October 12. He has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station on January 18, pending further enquiries.
