Heathland fire tackled in Lowestoft

FIREFIGHTERS and police officers from Lowestoft are currently on the scene of a heathland blaze at Dip Farm football field in the town.

A crew from Lowestoft South fire station were called to the blaze just after 8am this morning (Friday), with police officers called at 8.

A crew from Lowestoft South fire station were called to the blaze just after 8am this morning (Friday), with police officers called at 8.20am to provide traffic control at the height of rush-hour.
