It was a traumatic attack which left her with life-changing injuries which will take many years to fully heal - but today, brave Adele Bellis launches a campaign - supported by The Journal - to raise money for her ongoing rehabilitation from the horrific incident which saw her sprayed in the face with acid earlier this year.

The 22-year-old from Lowestoft is currently making weekly trips to London for rehabilitation following the brutal attack in London Road South on August 14 and has many more operations due next year,

But in a statement for The Journal to launch the Help Adele Fund, she paid tribute to those in the community who have supported her - and said she also wanted to raise money for the Katie Piper Foundation, a charity which helps burns sufferers with their recovery.

See today's Journal for how you can support the Help Adele Fund.
