A heritage walk which aims to trace more than 700 years of the history of St Margaret's church is taking place this Friday.
The walk, starting at Ness Point at 9am on Friday, June 29, will last between one and two hours.
It will stop at key historical points such as Spurgeon Score, the Flint House, the Town Hall, a Second World War bomb site, the lighthouse, Belle Vue Park, North Parade, Station Road, and the Eastern Linear Park before arriving at the church.
A spokesman for the walk said: 'We hope it will be a joyful and prayerful experience, with the opportunity to picnic in the churchyard, attend a half an hour communion service if wished, before exploring the architecture, memorials and many items of interest in our beautiful Church.
'It is free and we aim to trace over 700 years of the History of St Margaret's by inviting people to join us on the walk, from the most easterly point, to discover where and what happened in the past and to share any heritage information.'
