BLUE and yellow got together in Lowestoft yesterday (Thursday) as real-life holiday centre entertainers met their Hi-de-Hi counterparts.

Graham Henry, entertainments manager at Pontins of Pakefield, and bluecoats Laura Bowles and Craig Brookes were at the Marina Theatre to meet some of the stars of the Hi-de-Hi national tour which is bringing the classic television sitcom to the stage.

Waiting at the theatre to meet the Pontins entertainers were stars Damien Williams, Helen Bennett and Dieter Thomas.

'This is a big week for Pontins as we have submitted a planning application for a multi-million pound expansion scheme for the holiday centre at Pakefield.

'It is wonderful to come and meet the stars of the Hi-de-Hi stage show which is so popular with everyone,' said Mr Henry.

The show, which also features original cast members Barry Howard and Nikki Kelly, along with former Emmerdale star Peter Amory began its run at Lowestoft last night.

Further performances are tonight at 7.30pm and tomorrow at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets and information are available from the Marina box office on 01502 533200.
