A HOLOCAUST survivor will visit students at Lowestoft College tomorrow to highlight the horrors of the death camps of Nazi Germany.

Eva Clarke is taking part in a question and answer session with an audience of 100, as part of an outreach project organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust.

She will be introduced by Georgia Wicks and Zoe Banns, both of whom are studying on the level three travel and tourism course.

They will discuss their experience, emotions and thoughts on their recent trip to Auschwitz before they introduce Eva, who will seek to give students a better understanding of the nature of the Holocaust.

Jo Hiller, teaching and learning coordinator at Lowestoft College, said: “It is a privilege for us to welcome Eva Clarke to our college and her testimony will remain a powerful reminder of the horrors so many experienced.”
