The team at Potters Resort did their bit in a Christmas knit by taking part in the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, December 18 and raised £272.03.

As well as donating £2 to wear a jumper, there was a best jumper competition for staff, festive themed activities and buckets for guests to donate.

The money raised from Text Santa will help three charities – Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children – and give hope to families in difficulty at Christmas.

John Potter, managing director of Potters Resort, said: 'ITV's Christmas appeal, Text Santa, aims to give hope to those families facing difficult times this Christmas, so we are really proud to play our part in raising funds for this cause.

'Many members of the team got involved in this year's appeal and some even got creative with the tinsel and baubles and made their own snazzy jumpers.'
