A holiday company is in with a shot of scooping a national award in recognition of its services.

Hoseasons, based in Lowestoft, has been nominated in the category for 'Best UK Holiday Cottage/Self Catering Holiday Booking Company' at the British Travel Awards (BTA).

The awards are dedicated to saluting the very best of the travel industry and winners are determined based solely on a public vote.

Simon Altham, from Hoseasons, is therefore hoping for strong local support.

He said: 'Our nomination is real testament to our team and property owners who work really hard to ensure we offer the best service possible. The majority of our team are from Lowestoft, so it would be amazing for all their hard work to be recognised on a national level.'

The public have until September 30 to vote on the BTA website and all those who vote are entered into a prize draw. Visit the Hoseasons website to find out more about the company.
