Waveney residents are being invited to an information market in Lowestoft, where a range of local support agencies will be on hand to offer advice.

The event is being held by Waveney District Council at Harry Chamberlain Court in Hollingsworth Road on November 25 between10am and 4pm.

Representatives will attend from numerous organisations including the Citizens Advice Bureau, Jobcentre Plus, St John's Housing Trust and Age Concern, as well as from council tax, home alarm, sheltered housing, housing and council tax benefit services.

Councillor Sue Allen, portfolio holder for housing, said: 'This is a great opportunity for the people of Waveney to find out the true extent of local support available. We have gathered a wide range of services in one place, so if you are in need of help and don't know where to turn, then do come along and find out more.'
