Investigation ongoing following ‘unexplained’ death of man in 40s

A cordon remains in place as police continue to investigate the death of a man in his 40s.
At around 2.35pm yesterday, June 16, the East of England Ambulance Service contacted police following reports that a man's body had been discovered at a property on Normanston Drive in Lowestoft.
Several police cars, a forensics team and a number of ambulance vehicles were sent to the scene, before a cordon was put in place.
Investigating officers said on Sunday night that the death of the man, who was in his 40s, was being treated as unexplained.
This morning officers remained at the scene while an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death continued.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said further updates will be issued in due course.
