A crowd of superheroes and princesses paraded through Lowestoft and Norwich which included a cast lineup of Spiderman, Snow White, Elsa from Frozen and Iron Man.

The “Capes and Crowns” procession was organised by local companies Fairy Tale Party Packages and Hero Hire, and was done in order to raise funds for the mental health charity Mind.

During the parade, hundreds of happy youngsters stopped in their tracks to get a picture with their favourite superhero or princess.

Tom Bate from Hero Hire who was dressed as Bumblebee from the Transformers films said: “It has been a really excitable event the children are loving getting their pictures taken with their favourite characters and even the parents are getting into the spirit of things as well.

“We are raising the money for the charity Mind who do a fantastic job by helping and supporting young people. When you hear of particular stories of people who have mental health issues and see the work Mind does you can tell it is a great charity and a worthy cause.”
