It was a very good show

ON behalf of the Royal British Legion Lowestoft & District, I would like to say that despite the weather the Lowestoft seafront air festival was a very good show.

ON behalf of the Royal British Legion Lowestoft & District, I would like to say that despite the weather the Lowestoft seafront air festival was a very good show.

Our stand was past the Claremont Pier and it was felt that maybe we could have been put with all the “Other Forces” stands.

The stand was broken into on the Thursday evening and some items were stolen and damage done. I would also like to point out that Mr & Mrs Bartrum from the Stanton Branch of the RBL were visitors to Lowestoft and kindly agreed to run a recruitment stand to promote the Royal British Legion. They funded their own B & B and meals. On behalf of the Lowestoft & District RBL I would like to apologise to them both for the break in to the stand and hope it will not deter them from attending in the future. A big thank you for all your help.
