I WOULD like to congratulate The Denes High School on their production of 'Boogie Nights' which ran for three nights last week.
This show was produced entirely by students with support from their mentors, Natalie Dores, Laura Simons, Richard Ainslie and Peter Collins.
The Story is about Roddy ONeil, a womanising wannabe rock and roll star played by Ricky Reeve, and his long suffering girlfriend, Debs, played by Dayna Williams.
The music, played by a live band has you tapping your foot and clapping your hands from the minute the curtain opens.
You may also want to watch:
The amazing voices of Dayna Williams, Katie Walker and Tammie Tumulty, to name a few, left you with goose bumps and always wanting to hear more.
The acting was first class and the comedy always raising the necessary laughs. Aiden Henry, playing the part of Roddy's friend Terry and Tammie Tumultry playing the part of Debs friend Trish were hysterical and I could have watched them all night.

The chorus were mainly made up of year 9 students who did wonderfully well with numerous dance routines and set changes.
This is the third production I have watched produced by the Denes High School and every year it just gets better and better.
That in mind I will be first in line to see what magic they produce next year!
Well done to everyone involved, you are all stars!
