BOOKWORMS in a Waveney village will be able to take advantage of modern facilities when the doors are opened on Kessingland Library in its new location.
The new library, which opens tomorrow (Tuesday, October 6) at 2.30pm, will offer a wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs and computer games. It will also provide a meeting place for local groups and internet access. The library will also be open for an extra three hours a week as it will no longer close on lunchtimes on Wednesday and Friday.
It is part of Flagship's Very Sheltered Housing scheme in Hall Road, but will be open to all local residents. It replaces the old library, formerly at the village's primary school, which closed on September 20.
