Two outings and coffee mornings have been booked for June and July. The walking group were in the Barsham area in March and had a talk with the vicar who was cleaning the cross on the rood screen in preparation for its illumination by the sun. April sees them walking a route in the Mutford woods area. The darts team had a successful time on March 31. Team A won both their games and the B team won two out of three. They have all been invited to the pairs final in May.

The speaker was John Holmes who entertained with slides of Old Lowestoft. Many of the pictures included aspects of life of the times with people who are still recognised by their descendants. Mr and Mrs Holmes judged the competition (a photograph of bygone days in Kessingland) and the bloom of the month. These were won by Barbara Eyre and Sheila Woodcock. Next month the speaker will be Mike Willis who will talk about the problems facing bees and their keepers.
