Residents' Association - The monthly meeting of Kirkley Residents' Association is on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm at the Kirkley Centre, London Road South. If you are you interested in Kirkley's future - the centre stands sad and unused at present - please attend the meeting as Martyn Burnside, Chief Officer of Waveney Community Forum will shortly be taking over the centre, so come and ask him questions.

The Forum helps community groups by offering one to one support and providing funding information and advice. PC Chris Beavers will also attend to answer questions in respect of law and order.

Dancing classes - People of all ages who would like to learn tap or modern dance can join the Commet School of Dancing classes at Kirkley High School Dance Studio. After the half term holiday they are taking on new students. Classes are on Thursdays from 5.30 to 6.30pm for ages three to seven, 6.30 to 7.30pm for eights and over and 7.30 to 8.30pm for eight plus and adults. Please phone Jill on 516337 for details. She also runs classes on Wednesdays at Hollingsworth Road Hall from 4.30 to 5.30pm for three to seven years and from 5.30 to 6.30pm for eight years to adult.

South Lowestoft Methodist Church - The Friday coffee morning takes place today and all are invited to join us at 10am in the large hall (London Road South entrance) and browse the bookstall. Also at 10am in the oasis room (near the entrance) there will be 20 minutes of prayer which is open to everyone. On Sunday why not join us for worship at 10.30am when Rev Robert Soanes will lead a service of holy communion.
