A Lowestoft-based youth football team has netted a cash boost from a leading housebuilder.
Kirkley & Pakefield U12 Vipers FC has received a £750 donation as part of the Persimmon Homes Anglia Healthy Communities programme.
Team spokesman Stuart Forsdicke said: “Our boys need a new training kit that can also be used as their away kit, as well as new balls and other training equipment. KPFC Vipers are currently doing well in the U12 division one. We hope to carry on this run of success with the boys proudly wearing the Persimmon Homes logo on their new kit.”
Andrew Fuller, managing director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, said: “Our Healthy Communities scheme was established to help the clubs and organisations helping young people in the region to enjoy sporting opportunities. We are pleased to support Kirkley & Pakefield U12 Vipers and wish them every success for the future.”
