Thieves steal bike which was left locked to a drain pipe

Police are appealing for information after a ladies bicycle was stolen.

Witnesses are being sought following the theft of the bike on Long Road in Lowestoft.

A police spokesman said: “The ladies black Ridgeback pedal cycle was left locked to a drain pipe on Monday, March 25 when the bike was stolen between 4.15pm and 7.45pm.”

The bicycle had a wicker basket on the front and there was an orange sticker on the frame.
