Land Rover stolen from outside home - day after theft of car key

Police are appealing for witnesses after two thefts across two days saw a handbag and Land Rover stolen.

The first incident took place in Carlton Colville during the daytime on Tuesday, April 3, when the offender/s stole a handbag from the skate park in Carlton Meadow Park. It contained a car key for a Land Rover Evoque and a document that identified the victim’s address, among other items.

The second incident - also in Carlton Colville - occurred between 6:28pm and 11:31pm the following day, Wednesday, April 4.

It is believed that the offender/s used the key to steal a Land Rover Evoque from outside a property in Brook Close.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour or has knowledge about either of these incidents should contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting crime number 18433/18. Alternatively, you can call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
