Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and worthy local causes, have been boosted by a recent collection.
On Monday, December 18, the group held a table top sale and bucket collection at the Tesco store on Leisure Way, north Lowestoft.
Gary Bennett, from the Lauren Lou appeal, said: 'We are proud to announce we collected a grand total of £604.78.
'With absolutely amazing generosity from Tesco staff and customers, this will go to help our cancer appeals fund that helps local people. Thank you to all concerned but my volunteers deserve a massive thank you for filling the rota and standing up to cancer.'
